Lauren Schooley is a Baltimore-based illustrator, designer, and hand-lettering artist. 

Her creative lens and the issues she cares about have been shaped by growing up between the Southwestern US and Malawi. She came to Baltimore for a BFA in Illustration and Humanistic Studies from the Maryland Institute College of Art, and decided to stay a while! She works both digitally and traditionally, often in the same illustration, enjoying the unique feel of water-based mediums and the experimental freedom of digital work.
